Site Tweaks

Over the last week, numerous small site tweaks have been made, as well as any bugs resulting in a 500 server error being fixed. These silent, small changes will continue through this week as well, but are now going to typically happen in chunks instead of one at a time. Some of our Discord users have given feedback and suggestions, and while this is not an exhaustive list of all changes being made, you can look forward to these happening sometime this week:

• A pop-up warning if you try to enter a Delve without a Tagalong (while actually having creatures that can go Delving), and an option to disable said warning if you wish.
• A method of acquiring resources outside of Delving. While this was already planned, this specific method that is incoming very soon is not the one that was planned, which is larger in scope and will take more time to develop.
• Lots of experimentation is being done to provide better variety in Sectors while still respecting creature rarity. Sometimes these changes take a day or two to settle in once they're applied, but the results so far have been very good.

Privacy Policy

We have updated our privacy policy pending approval to run advertisements via Google Adsense. These ads are being run to pay for server costs, as well as those of us who make content for Protochroma. We have made an effort to ensure the ads will not render in the middle of actual content within the layout. When they start showing up, one ad will display on the sidebar below navigation for platforms that display said sidebar, and an ad will display between the body and footer on all platforms.
