Xenolinguistics is where much of the artefacts from places such as the Forested Laboratory end up to be examined further. Through studying the bits and pieces of writing found within artefacts and along structures, it is hoped that it will both shed light on Chroma's lost civilization and on the less organic creatures found roaming all over the planet.
The door to this lab is locked, but through the window you can see someone at a large table. It looks like he's going through a lot of tattered-looking books and folders.
