The young animal is beginning to flap around its environment, and despite its blindness it almost never flies into anything—when it does, it is due to general clumsiness, rather than not knowing there's an obstacle. It chirps loudly as it flies, using its four wings and webbed tail to fly through the air with a sort of ungainly movement. Also curiously, it shies away from bright light, though how it can tell the light level of its surroundings is a mystery.
